what i love about this is the feeling that the woman is top- or head-heavy because of her hair. It seems to speak to the beauty, freedom, heaviness, etc. etc. etc. that a black woman can feel all because her hair. It's hard to tell if the women in the pieces are in control...
ReplyDeletethose are beautiful pieces. so lovely. a bit intoxicating, even.
